Over the next week, the Bandits will be unveiling their protected players ahead of the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) Draft.

Five members of the roster will be protected for the league’s Expansion Draft, during which the league’s newest teams — the Oklahoma City Spark and Cascade — may select unprotected players for their rosters.

Tune in to the AUSL Draft, a two-part draft event designed to support competitive balance and provide opportunity across the league, on Monday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. ET on ESPNU.

More details on the AUSL Draft structure can be found here.

Nov 18: Erin Coffel, Infielder

General Manager Jenny Dalton-Hill on Erin Coffel: “In her second season in AU,  Erin dominated at the plate, garnering the top two accolades as Hitter of the Year and AUSL MVP in the 2025 regular season. Her ability to self-evaluate and adjust her game plan and approach set her apart in her preparation, and it translated into her production at the plate. She quickly became the backbone of the middle of the offensive lineup and played stellar defense in the middle of the field.”

Nov. 19: Lexi Kilfoyl, Pitcher

GM Dalton-Hill on Kilfoyl: “Lexi proved why she was the first pick in the draft last season by tossing the second-lowest ERA in the regular season and tied for the most wins by any pitcher in the league. The maturity she shows in-game and her ability to control the strike zone gives us confidence against any team in the AUSL. We project her improvement to be exponential as we tap into her ability to expand her pitching repertoire.”

Nov. 20: Taylor McQuillin, Pitcher

GM Dalton-Hill on McQuillin: “Having a lefty on staff is a unique commodity and to be able to utilize the experienced maturity that Taylor brings to the circle makes us confident that she will mix well with many different pitchers. Her proficiency to communicate clearly and directly with her teammates and coaches proved to be an unbelievable asset to the Bandits last season.”
