Franklin Sports released the first-ever Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) signature batting glove on Wednesday with Carolina Blaze infielder Baylee Klingler. Her softball journey and personality inspired the limited-edition gloves.
Klingler just wrapped up her second season in the AUSL and fourth as a pro with a wealth of experience playing in leagues in the United States and abroad. The lilac and vanilla colorway represents her career at the University of Washington (2020–2023), where she was a three-time All-American and the 2022 Pac-12 Player of the Year. The cherry blossom motif honors her time playing in Japan and the experiences that shaped her career.
Klingler collaborated with Franklin on the gloves to celebrate staying true to yourself. The gloves feature her signature and a unicorn emblem, with every detail chosen as a reminder to embrace individuality, play with confidence, and inspire the next generation.
The gloves are the Franklin Sports CFX Pro Series, the brand’s most popular on-field model. Franklin has released gloves in collaboration with many MLB players, but this is the first edition paired with an AUSL athlete.
