USA Softball announced the 15-player U.S. Women’s National Team roster for the 2025 World Games on Friday. Eleven Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) players will represent Team USA in Chengdu, China, this August.

The Volts have the most players on the roster with five selections. The Talons follow closely behind with four athletes. AUSL players on the roster are:

Team USA will carry three alternates for the event, including Lexi Kilfoyl (Bandits) and Aubrey Leach (Blaze).

Eight teams will compete at the World Games, including the top six ranked teams by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC): World No. 1 USA, No. 2 Japan, No. 3 Puerto Rico, No. 4 Chinese Taipei, No. 5 Netherlands, and No. 6 Canada. A wild card was awarded to No. 10 Australia as the highest-ranking team in Oceania, and No. 12 China has a spot as the host.

Team USA is the reigning champion, earning gold at the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, Alabama.

This year’s games will be held August 13-17.
