Amari Harper is a 5-foot-7 professional softball utility player from Corona, California. She was acquired by the Oklahoma City Spark in the third round of the 2026 AUSL College Draft following a collegiate career at Texas A&M and Oregon.


Personal Life


Family: Daughter of Carrie and Baraka Harper. Her mother played softball at Cypress Community College and Oklahoma; her father played football at TCU.

Education: Majored in sport management at Oregon.

Background: Lists her mother as a major influence and models her game after Javier Baez. Became starstruck receiving her AUSL Golden Ticket from Natasha Watley. Has a dog named Loki, who is her most prized possession. Wore the same headband during every game of her college career.

Athletes Unlimited Softball League (2026)

2026 AUSL Regular Season: Selected by the Oklahoma City Spark in the third round of the 2026 AUSL College Draft.

College Experience: Texas A&M & Oregon (2023–2026)


Career Statistics: Started 199-of-209 games between Texas A&M and Oregon. Logged a .373 career average with 24 home runs, 134 RBIs, and 196 hits (including 32 doubles and five triples).

Senior Year (2026, Oregon): Oregon’s second-leading hitter with a .396 batting average, 15 home runs, and 49 RBIs. Set a career high by hitting safely in 12 consecutive games.

Texas A&M (2023–2025): Starter in 144-of-154 games over three seasons, amassing a .364 average with nine home runs and 85 RBIs.

Junior Year (2025, Texas A&M): Ranked eighth in the SEC with a .421 average, tallying eight home runs and 51 RBIs. Held fourth place in the SEC with a .536 on-base percentage, helping Texas A&M earn the No. 1 overall seed for the NCAA Tournament.

Sophomore Year (2024, Texas A&M): Batted .348 and ranked second on the team with 35 runs scored.

Freshman Year (2023, Texas A&M): Started every game at second base, ranking third on the team with a .323 average and second with a .414 OBP.


Awards & Honors

All-Region: First-Team NFCA All-Mountain Region as a senior and Third-Team NFCA All-South Region as a freshman.

Conference Honors: First-Team All-Big Ten Conference (2026) and Second-Team All-SEC (2025).
