Devyn Netz is a 5-foot-9 professional softball utility player from Sierra Madre, California. She was acquired via trade with the Bandits on July 11, 2025, following a collegiate career at Arizona.


Personal Life


Family: Daughter of Dan and Lisa Netz. Brother, Dawson, plays baseball at Arizona.

Background: Knows how to play the acoustic guitar and wears No. 34 because David Ortiz and Bryce Harper donned the number.

Professional Experience


Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball & AUSL (2025)

2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Secured a seventh-place finish with 1,078 leaderboard points. Led the field with four doubles, hit .304, and earned two Game MVP awards.

2025 AUSL Regular Season: Split time between the Bandits and the Blaze after being traded for Danielle Gibson Whorton on July 11. Batted .273 with two home runs for the Bandits, and .211 with one home run for the Blaze. In the circle, posted a 5.09 ERA for the Bandits and a 2.42 ERA for the Blaze.

College Experience: Arizona (2021–2025)


Career Statistics: Outstanding two-way player who missed 2024 due to injury. Pitching: 3.20 ERA, 56-29 record, 353 strikeouts, and a school-record eight saves. Hitting: .318 career average with 32 home runs and 109 RBIs.

Redshirt Senior Year (2025): Compiled a 22-6 pitching record with a 2.25 ERA and 118 strikeouts. Hit .347 with 19 home runs and 68 RBIs. Became the first player in Arizona history to throw a perfect game and hit a home run in the same game.

Junior Year (2023): Registered a 16-16 record with a 3.88 ERA and 135 strikeouts, while hitting 13 home runs.

Sophomore Year (2022): Finished with a 15-7 record, 3.45 ERA, and 83 strikeouts.

Freshman Year (2021): Posted a 3-0 record with a 2.95 ERA.


Awards & Honors

National Honors: 2025 NCAA Division I Rawlings Gold Glove Award. Top 10 Finalist for USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year in 2025.

All-America: First-Team All-America by Softball America and D1Softball, and Second-Team by NFCA.

Conference Honors: 2025 Big 12 Conference Player of the Year.
