Jayda Coleman is a 5-foot-9 professional softball outfielder from The Colony, Texas. She was acquired in the 1st Round of the 2026 Allocation Draft following a collegiate career at Oklahoma.


Personal Life

Family: Daughter of Deana and Cedric Coleman. Has two siblings.

Background: Threw the ceremonial first pitch for the Milwaukee Brewers on April 25, 2026.

Professional Experience


Other Professional Experience (2024–2025)

Oklahoma City Spark: Competed for the Spark, posting a .412 batting average with two home runs and 10 RBIs during the 2025 season.


International Experience (2019–2026)

Team USA: Led Team USA to a Gold medal at the 2025 World Games, hitting .412 and earning All-World Team honors. Won Gold at the 2019 WBSC U-19 Women’s Softball World Cup. Member of the 2026 National Team pool.

College Experience: Oklahoma (2021–2024)


Career Statistics: Started all 249 career games, leading the Sooners to four consecutive NCAA Division I titles. Ranks third in program history with a .415 batting average and .545 on-base percentage. Scored a school-record 283 runs.

Senior Year (2024): Authored a .385 batting average with 13 home runs, 44 RBIs, and 69 hits while starting all 65 games.

Junior Year (2023): Led Oklahoma in runs scored (71), walks (41), and stolen bases (16). Belted a career-high 17 home runs.

Sophomore Year (2022): Ranked second on the team with a .424 batting average and third in NCAA Division I with a .584 on-base percentage.

Freshman Year (2021): Hit .444 with nine home runs and 53 RBIs, leading the team with 20 stolen bases.



Awards & Honors

All-America: Four-time NFCA All-America performer (First-Team as a freshman, sophomore, and junior; Second-Team as a senior).

All-Conference: Four-time First-Team All-Big 12 Conference honoree. 2023 Big 12 Player of the Year.

National Honors: 2019-20 Gatorade National Softball Player of the Year.
