Kat Sandercock is a 5-foot-11 professional softball pitcher from McLean, Virginia. She was acquired in the 1st Round of the 2026 Allocation Draft following a collegiate career at Florida State.

Education: Majored in psychology at Florida State.

Hobbies: Enjoys reading, hiking, exploring different cities, and concerts.

Professional & International Experience (2023–2024)

2024 Championship Season: Tied for the league lead with 13 appearances and set a new AU Pro Softball single-season record with four saves while pitching to a 2.56 ERA.

2023 Championship Season: Earned a 22nd-place finish in her rookie season, registering three saves and a 2.05 ERA in 30.2 innings.

International: Won a Gold medal with Team USA at the 2017 WBSC Junior Women’s World Championship with a 1.40 ERA, and competed at the 2023 Pan American Games.

College Experience: Florida State (2019–2023)

Sandercock finished her career with a 107-12 record, a 1.44 ERA, and 489 strikeouts in 718.0 innings.

Career Milestones: She is Florida State’s career saves leader (18) and pitched the first perfect game in FSU’s NCAA Tournament history.

Senior Year (2023): Honored as ACC Pitcher of the Year after going 28-4 with a 1.12 ERA and a program-record 10 saves.
