McKenzie Clark is a 5-foot-5 professional softball outfielder from Myakka City, Florida. She was acquired via trade with the Volts on June 22, 2025, following a collegiate career at Clemson.


Personal Life

Family: Daughter of Brian and Carrie Clark. Her mother played volleyball at Jacksonville University.

Background: Majored in criminal justice. Earned the nickname "Pie" while playing on her youth softball team. Models her game after Mookie Betts and says Bryce Harper is one of her idols.

Professional Experience


Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball, AUX & AUSL (2024–2025)

2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Earned 26th place on the final leaderboard with 788 total points. Started 7-of-8 games and collected two hits.

2025 AUSL Regular Season: Starter in 22-of-24 games, splitting time between the Volts and the Blaze after being involved in the first trade in AUSL history. Totaled a .217 batting average with 13 hits, four home runs, and 11 RBIs.

2024 Championship Season: Finished in 21st place with 1,278 leaderboard points. Compiled a .238 batting average with five hits, including a triple and a home run.

2024 AUX Season: Amassed 1,064 leaderboard points to finish 12th. Authored a 2-2 record as a team captain and hit .321 with two home runs and seven RBIs.


Other Professional Experience (2026)

Mexican Softball League: Compiled a .250 batting average in 17 games for Las Olmecas de Tabasco in 2026, contributing two home runs and six RBIs.

College Experience: Clemson (2021–2024)


Career Statistics: Started all 226 games of her career, closing her career in second place on the Tigers’ all-time list with a .345 batting average. Graduated as the Tigers’ all-time leader in runs scored (198), triples (13), and stolen bases (46).

Senior Year (2024): Hit .365 with 61 hits, 10 home runs, and 41 RBIs. Registered a hit in a team-high 13 consecutive games.

Junior Year (2023): Authored a .335 batting average with 60 hits, 13 home runs, and 38 RBIs.

Sophomore Year (2022): Paced Clemson with a .328 batting average, 59 hits, and 42 runs scored, blasting 12 home runs. Recorded the first inside-the-park home run in Clemson history.

Freshman Year (2021): Hit .355 with nine home runs and an ACC-leading six triples.
