Personal: Edenfield is the daughter of Tami Powell. She majored in humanities at Florida State. Edenfield was crowned homecoming queen at Sneads High School in 2019. She was a two-sport athlete in high school who also led the volleyball team to four straight state championships. Edenfield’s aunt, Teresa Edenfield, played softball at Florida State from 1997 to 2001. She has two cats named Sunkist and Casper. Edenfield says Florida State head softball coach Lonni Alameda is a person who has made a difference in her life. She lists Serena Williams as one of her idols because of her work ethic and drive. Edenfield was involved in agriculture as a child growing up. Her proudest accomplishment is being drafted to play in the Athletes Unlimited Softball League. Edenfield enjoys photography, makeup, and fashion. She knows how to speak Chinese. Edenfield enjoys reading. She knows how to blow air out of her eye socket. Edenfield chose to wear No. 51 because her mother also wore the number. Her nickname is Area 51.

International Experience: Edenfield participated in the 2019 USA Softball Junior Women’s National Team selection trials.

At Florida State: Edenfield is a five-year letter winner at Florida State. She started in 239 of 243 career games from 2021 to 2025. Edenfield did not play as a true freshman. She compiled a .313 career batting average. Edenfield is third in Florida State history with 54 career home runs. She ranks fifth on the Seminoles’ career runs batted in list with 202. Edenfield tallied 187 hits, including 35 doubles and two triples. She also collected 163 walks while being hit by a pitch 18 times. Edenfield is one of two players in program history with three seasons of 50 or more runs batted in. She is a four-time NFCA All-Region performer who earned Second-Team status as a redshirt junior and redshirt senior. Edenfield also earned four All-Atlantic Coast Conference commendations, including First-Team notice in 2024. She secured Second-Team All-ACC recognition as a redshirt senior after batting .331 with 10 home runs and 50 runs batted in. Edenfield was a starter in all 61 games. She matched her career high with 51 hits while scoring a career-best 35 runs. Edenfield posted 13 multi-hit games, including a four-hit performance against Wichita State on February 15, 2025. She drove in multiple runs in 14 contests, including five runs against Mercer on March 1, 2025. Edenfield recorded a hit in eight of her first 11 games, including three multi-hit outings. She earned Third-Team NFCA All-America citation after hitting a career-high .381 with 15 home runs and 46 runs batted in during her redshirt junior season. Edenfield also earned a spot on the All-ACC First Team. She started in 64 of 68 games as a redshirt sophomore. Edenfield led the Seminoles with 13 home runs and 53 runs batted in. She was named to the NCAA Women’s College World Series All-Tournament Team after recording at least one hit in four of five games, including a home run against Tennessee in the NCAA semifinal. Edenfield helped Florida State clinch the ACC regular season title by collecting three hits with three runs batted in against Louisville. She started all 61 games during the 2022 season. Edenfield was a Top 10 Finalist for the NFCA National Freshman of the Year award. She finished her redshirt freshman campaign with a .293 batting average while contributing four doubles and a team-high 16 home runs. Edenfield also ranked second on the team with 53 runs batted in while scoring 36 runs. She opened her career by belting seven home runs in her first 16 games.
