Skylar Wallace is a 5-foot-10 professional softball middle infielder from Woodstock, Georgia. She was acquired in the 3rd Round of the 2025 Inaugural Draft following a collegiate career at Florida and Alabama.

Personal Life

Background: Passionate about health and wellness; ran a half-marathon in 2 hours and 2 minutes prior to the 2025 season.Competed in the 2024 MLB Home Run Derby X event in Durham, North Carolina, alongside Athletes Unlimited Softball League player Amanda Lorenz. She chose to wear No. 17 because it was her jersey number when she played at Florida.

Professional & International Experience (2024–2025)

2025 AUSL Regular Season: Batted .390 with a league-leading 26 runs scored and eight stolen bases. Hit safely in 21-of-23 games, registering a league-best 11-game hitting streak.

2024 Championship Season: Finished sixth with 1,500 leaderboard points, pacing the league with 13 runs scored while batting .354 with a .971 OPS.

Team USA: Won a Gold medal at the 2019 WBSC U-19 Women’s Softball World Cup and is in the 2026 National Team pool.

College Experience: Alabama & Florida (2019–2024)

Wallace compiled a .383 career batting average with 289 hits, 51 home runs, and 307 runs scored over 284 career games.

Junior Year (2022, Florida): Became the first NCAA Division I player to log 70 hits, 70 runs, 50 RBIs, and 50 steals in a single season.

Redshirt Junior Year (2023, Florida): Ranked ninth in NCAA Division I with a school-record .447 batting average and led the nation with a .980 slugging percentage.
