The Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) Inaugural Draft is complete and the Volts have selected their first 12 players.

The Volts selected pitcher Rachel Garcia in the first round with the No. 4 pick.

Volts General Manager Cat Osterman and Head Coach Kelly Kretschman will complete the roster over the coming months with one free agency signing and three selections at the AUSL College Draft this spring.

The AUSL is a professional women’s softball league featuring four teams playing in a traditional format. The league will begin play this summer. The AUSL will be a touring property in its first season, with the Bandits, Blaze, Talons, and Volts playing games in six to eight cities. The teams will each be assigned to a single city when the league becomes city-based in 202
