Paige Sinicki

Personal: Sinicki is the daughter of Stacey and Chuck Sinicki and majored in human physiology at the University of Oregon. On June 23, 2025, she was named a graduate assistant at the University of Utah. She credits her travel softball coach, Marty Tyson, as someone who has significantly influenced her life. She models her game after Sis Bates and Derek Jeter and cites former Oregon softball player and assistant coach Nikki Udria as one of her idols, admiring Udria's competitive spirit and how she treats others.

Outside of softball, Sinicki also competed in flag football and lacrosse during her childhood. She was actively involved in band, student council, and community service clubs growing up. Her proudest accomplishment is leading Oregon to the NCAA Women’s College World Series as a senior. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, working out, cooking, and engaging in community activities with friends. She also knows how to juggle.

College Experience: Sinicki was a four-year letter winner at the University of Oregon, where she started all 219 career games from 2022 to 2025. She posted a .297 career batting average, recording 166 hits, including 26 doubles, nine triples, and 17 home runs. Over her collegiate career, she drove in 102 runs and scored 135 times. Sinicki ranks tied for seventh in Oregon history with 65 career stolen bases. In 2025, she became one of only six players in program history to score 60 or more runs in a single season, finishing with 61 runs that year.

She received the 2024–25 Big Ten Conference Medal of Honor and was a two-time NFCA All-Region honoree, earning First-Team All-Mountain Region recognition as a senior. In 2024, Sinicki was awarded the NFCA Rawlings Gold Glove at shortstop and was co-recipient of the Pac-12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year Award, becoming just the second player in program history to receive that honor. A two-time Pac-12 All-Defensive Team selection, she also earned a spot on the Big Ten All-Defensive Team as a senior.

In her final season, Sinicki was a First-Team All-Big Ten performer and started all 64 games. She finished as Oregon’s fourth-leading hitter with a career-high .376 batting average. She also contributed eight home runs and 50 RBIs, while ranking second on the team with 14 doubles and 32 stolen bases. She led the Ducks with six triples. Sinicki played a pivotal role in Oregon’s run to the NCAA Women’s College World Series, going 3-for-5 with a triple and a home run in a 13-1 Super Regional win over Liberty. During the NCAA Eugene Regional, she hit .385 with a double and two triples. On March 10, 2025, she hit a grand slam and drove in seven runs in a game against Abilene Christian.

As a junior, Sinicki started all 51 games at shortstop. She led the team with five sacrifice bunts and batted .282 with two home runs and 16 RBIs. Defensively, she led all Pac-12 shortstops with a .975 fielding percentage. During her sophomore season, she recorded a .232 batting average and ranked fifth in the Pac-12 after being hit by a pitch 10 times. As a freshman in 2022, Sinicki earned Pac-12 All-Freshman Team honors after hitting .267 with 30 runs scored and 28 RBIs. She posted a .979 fielding percentage that season with only three errors in 141 chances and ranked sixth in the Pac-12 with three triples.
