Jordan Woolery

Jordan Woolery is a professional softball infielder from Walnut Creek, California, who was selected in the first round (No. 6 overall) of the 2026 AUSL College Draft by the Utah Talons.

Personal Life

Background: Two-sport athlete in high school, playing basketball for three years. Lists Serena Williams and Kobe Bryant as her most admired famous athletes.

Favorites: Favorite baseball team is the Los Angeles Dodgers. Enjoys listening to music by Drake. Favorite TV shows are The Office and Catfish.

Education: Majored in sociology at UCLA with a minor in public affairs.

Family: Daughter of Stephanie and Noel Belton.

Professional Experience

2026 AUSL Postseason (Utah Talons): Woolery logged three hits in five at-bats against Chicago during the AUSL Championship, including a two-hit effort in Game Two.

2026 AUSL Regular Season (Utah Talons): Woolery earned the starting assignment in 21 games during her rookie season, posting a .270 batting average with one home run and 11 runs batted in. She contributed 17 total hits, including three doubles, with eight runs scored, and compiled three multi-hit games, including a season-high three hits at Texas on June 20. Woolery hit the first home run of her professional career at Oklahoma City on July 12. She opened her career with a two-hit effort against Portland on June 13, and later went 2-for-4 with a double and a run batted in against Texas on June 18.

International Experience

Team USA: Served as a member of the Team USA roster for the 2023 Japan All-Star Series.

College Experience: UCLA (2023–2026)

Woolery was a four-year letter winner at UCLA, starting all 243 career games from 2023 to 2026. She drove in 285 career runs, ranking second in program history. She authored a .412 career batting average (fourth-highest in program history) and ranks fifth in UCLA history with 297 career hits, including 53 doubles and seven triples. She also stands third on the Bruins’ career leaderboard with 77 home runs.

Senior Campaign (2026 - UCLA): Led the Bruins and ranked fourth in NCAA Division I with a .497 batting average. Tallied a nation-leading 226 total bases, 36 home runs, and 117 RBIs. Boasted a .594 on-base percentage (fourth in NCAA DI). Led UCLA with 30 multi-hit games, including four 4-hit performances.

Junior Year (2025 - UCLA): One of two players to start all 68 games, splitting time between third and first base. Ranked second in NCAA DI with 86 RBIs and seventh with 23 home runs. Registered 24 multi-hit games and opened the season on a 13-game hitting streak. Hit a game-winning two-run home run against South Carolina in the NCAA Super Regionals to cap the largest postseason comeback in program history.

Sophomore Season (2024 - UCLA): One of four players to start all 55 games, recording a .314 batting average, 10 home runs, and 36 RBIs. Tallied 11 multi-hit games. Proved to be an outstanding defender, making just one error in 245 total chances.

Freshman Year (2023 - UCLA): Started all 57 games, ranking second on the team with a .390 batting average. Logged 10 home runs, 12 doubles, 46 RBIs, and 26 runs scored. Hit her first career home run—a grand slam—off Montana Fouts against Alabama on February 17, 2023.

Awards & Honors

All-America: Three-time All-America choice by NFCA, Softball America, and D1Softball, earning consensus First-Team status as a junior and senior.

All-Region: Three-time First-Team NFCA All-West Region performer.

All-Conference: 2026 Big Ten Conference Player of the Year. 2023 Pac-12 Conference Freshman of the Year. One of 11 players in program history to earn four First-Team All-Conference certificates.
