The Texas Volts and Chicago Bandits completed the first trade of the 2026 Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) offseason.
The two teams completed a one-for-one trade: the Volts sent two-way player Aliyah Binford to the Bandits in exchange for a player to be named later (PTBNL).
Binford contributed on both sides of the ball for the Volts in 2026. She batted .268 in 56 at-bats and appeared in 17 games in the circle. Binford hit three doubles, one triple, and five home runs. She posted a team-best 2.89 ERA, primarily appearing in a middle-relief pitcher role for Texas.
The Volts added Binford from the Reserve Player Pool during the 2025 season and formally added her to the roster in the fourth round of the Allocation Draft on Dec. 2, 2025.
